Discus and support Update account to receive deposit? in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; The site says I have to update my Microsoft Commerce account to receive the deposit.     Update account to receive deposit?


    The site says I have to update my Microsoft Commerce account to receive the deposit.

    I have two types of account: Personal and Business.

    I don't know why I have an business account, since I only use the personal account.

    My personal account have valid information and is up to date.

    UPDATE: Finally received my 15,000 credits, will deposit into my account on the 4th of December.

    Your account need to update to receive reward?

    Hello lashen2015,

    Your deposit is being prevented due to a mismatch between your Rewards Account region and your Microsoft Account region. Since your Rewards Account is a separate entity from your Microsoft Account, migrating your Microsoft Account region will not also change
    your Rewards Account region. Therefore, when your Rewards Account attempts a deposit in one regional currency, it cannot complete when your Microsoft Account is of a differing currency. We cannot complete a deposit of USD from your US Rewards Account into
    your Chinese Microsoft Account.

    However, this issue can be fixed by heading over to the Microsoft Commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com) to update your Microsoft
    account to match your Xbox Live Rewards location. Another option if you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Xbox Live region is to opt out of the program at ( https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/ )
    , wait 48 hours and then sign back up again, which can also take 48 hours.

    While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date
    from the MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards). If your join date shows a specific date and not a date of "???", then your
    account has successfully been re-registered. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.

    There is currently an internal issue with the data stored for your account which is preventing a deposit. Our deposit process cannot correctly determine the primary billable account to deposit into for your Microsoft Account, and thus aborts the process.
    Since our deposit process never actually receives your user input, updating it will not solve this issue in most cases. This is an error that we are working on resolving with another team. At the moment, we have not received a estimate on when this problem
    will be resolved. To be clear, this is a data issue, and not the result of any faulty user input. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    This seems to occur when many different billable accounts are used, and so the deposit process receives the incorrect billable account instead of the billable account designated as your deposit account. When it detects that the account received is not the
    one designated as your deposit account, that is when the abort is triggered. This is an issue that we are working on resolving with another team since we are not able to fully access the database containing billable account information. At the moment, we
    have not received an estimate on when this problem will be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    We see that your Microsoft Account information is set to the US region. Therefore, when we attempted a deposit, this deposit was made with the US regional currency. If you would like to receive your deposit in a different region, you would have to update
    your billing information (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/payment-and-purchases/update-billing-information-on-xbox-one). You may also wish
    to check your current Microsoft region (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-account/update-microsoft-account-country-region),
    as we see that your current region is set to the US.
