unwanted payment

I bought, 3 months ago, a promotional Xbox live for 3 months. I forgot to disable the auto payment and to cancel the subscription as well. Today the promo expires and I dont want Xbox live again, but they want me to pay because the auto payment was on.

Should I pay the bill and claim a refund?

Today is saturday so I think there arent Microsoft workers to help me.

"Glitches in the system?"

Hello, today I was attempting to manage my payment options in order to remove a credit card from my payment options, but whenever I attempt to access that option, the site proclaims that there is an error or a "glitch in the system." My subscription to XboxLive
automatically renews when unwanted and I am unable to cancel it because of said site errors. This is extremely frustrating, and money is being wasted because of it.

Removing a payment option.

Here is what you do.

1. Turn your 360 on

2. Push the center Xbox Button

3. Scroll over to “Settings”

4. Go to “Account Management”

5. Go to “Manage Payment Options”

6. Then Go To “Remove Payment Option”

7. Select the unwanted cards you want to remove.

If you cannot remove the old payment option by the way I listed above you have to either add an new payment option. Then select the new payment option to be your default payment option. Then you are allowed to delete the old Pay Pal account if this does
not first work.

Remember that you can add a credit card or paypal payment method but you can also turn off recurring payment to be sure you didn't get unwanted charge

Unfortunately not as they use the selected payment method as verification for the code purchased. The payment method and the auto renewal can be removed immediately after the code verification is completed to avoid unwanted subscription costs. You can also connect a PayPal account as your payment method if you would rather not attach your bank or card information directly to your account instead.
