Unwanted or memorable experiences while gaming.

Hello all,

I had an unwanted and memorable incident happen to me while gaming this morning.

I was sitting in front of my TV doing some gaming, when out from behind my TV came a huge huntsman spider. My attention moved from the game to the spider. I hate spiders, especially really big ones. This one was bigger than my palm. I tried to chase it with
a heavy shoe, but was difficult while avoiding the TV and theater sound system. I gave it a spray with fly spray, and it disappeared beneath one of my subwoofers. I lifted it up, and it was gone. I don't know where it is. After some time I returned to my game
for a short time before needing to go out. But it is something I will remember, but not want to.

After this incident, I thought I would ask others if they have had other situations while gaming that were either unwanted and/or memorable, whether positively or, as in my case, negatively.

Firstly i'd like to start off by saying, i hope you're safe! i hate spiders, so i know how you feel when you see one creep around the corner. Basically makes you wanna set fire to the house and just leave it.

I had a similar incident with a spider while playing xbox, although the spider crawled from under my desk where my legs are. and proceeded to wall all over my controller. I just left the spider till it moved away from my section. needless to say, i got kicked
from the game for being AFK.

I had one similar to yours though in the uk we dont have those spiders but some close to the size. I was playing and instead of out from the back of the tv it was out from the back of the cushion on the sofa, right next to my head! I nearly pooped myself!
And also broke my toe stubbing it on the coffee table when running out of the room, away from the 8 legged beast!

One memorable experience, or rather a memorable time, was when I went to school when I was younger. I wanted to play some more, I remember Animal Crossing on the Gamecube at the time, but my mom wanted me to go to bed. So naturally I switched off the lights
and even placed a shirt at the bottom of the door so my mom could not see the light from my TV. Good times xD

I watched as my 2 year old - I couldn't get up in time - swiped a full glass of water onto my brand new Xbox One (Day One Edition). It frazzled.

The very first time I beat Contra on the NES. For some reason, that sticks out in my head.
