    Unwanted notification

Hi there, I have an issue where somebody who used to be on my friends list, but now is not, keeps appearing as a notification on my Xbox every time they sign in. I have the notification setting for this set to show favourites only when they come online [to
which I only have 2 people set as], and I've gone to the lengths of blocking this person to try and prevent it showing, but still I get a notification to say they have come online? Any suggestions as to what to try and prevent this from happening?

    Many thanks.

    :)

  2. Unwanted Notifications

Have been directed to post my problem here by Xbox Support Chat.

    Support Reference Number 1315628029

    My Problem:

Recently I've been receiving sign-in notifications for players who have been deleted (and in some instances blocked) from my friends list. This has been happening for the last couple of weeks and the number of players I am receiving notifications for is
around 120, so as you can imagine this has become quite frustrating.

So far I've tried the following steps (multiple times) as advised by Microsoft Support Chat:

    - Reset of console

    - Complete power off of console

    - Delete of Gamer profile from console

    - Change privacy settings

    - Block relevant gamer profiles

    - Change notification preferences

None of the above steps work. In fact even with notifications turned off I have still received sign-in notifications for players who I have specifically blocked. But turning notifications off does stop me receiving notifications for those that I have added
    as friends.

Xbox Support Chat have been very pleasant but the steps they have suggested haven't solved the issue so far.

I've considered completely deleting my profile and wiping my Xbox memory and starting completely afresh with a new gamer profile.

I know that content can be shared across profiles but I wouldn't want to re-download my "problem" gamer profile and risk the issue returning.

This means I'd not only lose my save games but also my purchased content which I'm not really keen to do, so I'd really appreciate if someone can help solve the issue.

Thanks in advance for any help!

  3. Battery Level

I Gues it's the same basic funktions like turning of notification sounds or unwanted pop ups i don't want. But MS did it good so far giving us a working console so we actually have something to use.

Let them finish the other small funktions like battery indicator, notification sounds, unwanted pop ups etc. with maybe the next update.

    Hi Natpars,

Thanks for your post. I understand you are receiving unwanted notices from Mixer. Are you receiving these messages in "Messages from Xbox Live" or in your Notification Center? You can adjust settings for notifications by following steps here:

    I hope this helps.

Why does Microsoft keep removing the ability to uninstall unwanted applications like XBox, the Game Bar, etc.?

Windows game bar is a nuisance to me, i have all notifications turned off on my pc and with the app itself and i still get notifications from it across my screen. i dont use my pc for gaming i just want this app to stop sending unwanted notifications when
i have them all turned off
