Unwanted Mods Applied to My Account

Hi,

I was playing some Social Big Team on Halo 3 with a bunch of my good friends when we ran into a lobby full of modders it seemed. We play through and they win (using aimbots and speed hacks,) and after the game we quickly leave the lobby. My rank was edited
to a 5 Star General and my EXP was boosted up to over 6,000. I'm a tier 5 ambassador, and I'm hoping this rarity won't mess up my good reputation on my account. I also have a number of codes applied to this account and I would be devastated if I were to lose
these. (Also I'd be losing a significant amount of my money.) I'm hoping this won't have a negative impact on my account nor my relationship with Xbox Support. I love helping people and I hope to continue doing so.

Nope, that did not work. I'm still getting signed into the TotherGnu profile whenever I try logging in using my current address.

I tryd to change my email addrease, and now I have two accounts ! How do I close the unwanted account and change my email ?

The right thing to do in this situation is to report the players using the consoles tools. This will send a report off to the PET (Enforcement Team) whom will look into the complaint and take the appropriate action necessary. It may also be worth avoiding
them and blocking communications. All of these tools can be found via their profile page. In the future, the best approach to this problem would be to leave the game as soon as you suspect that its a modded lobby. Ultimately, it will be up to the PET to decide
whether you will receive any enforcements but if you left the lobby as soon as you found out that it was modified, then you should be okay.

The problem is you've admitted that you've stayed in a modded lobby,which is a bannable offence.

As Cloud said,if you had left straight away you would of been fine but if it was a modded lobby then the enforcement team may take action against you.

 

Stayed in what I nought to be a modded lobby, but instill don't see the justification of banning someone for that. It takes 10 out of 15 minutes to set those mods up (so it seemed) and even if I left straight away, these edits would've been applied to my
profile. This situation is a lose/lose for me. I posted here to prove that I had no wrong intentions, not to convict myself.

 

Just pointing out this part of the code of conduct:

F. Cheating & Tampering

• Do not cheat in a game unless the developer has deliberately enabled cheats.
• Do not use unauthorized hardware or modifications.
• Do not exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches.
• Do not make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents, including but not limited to tenure, Avatar, saved games, Gamerscore, or achievements.
  
• Do not intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methods.
  
• Do not play any illegitimately obtained software or pirated games.
• Do not take any action to cause degradation of service for Microsoft or other users, including but not limited to network interference or manipulation.
  
• Do not play a game before it has been authorized for play on the service.

By admtting that you stayed in what may have been a modded lobby & didn't leave straight away you may have action taken against your account.

I'm just giving you a heads up,thats all.

 

Okay, then according to that, there should be seventeen other users getting banned if enforcement decides to target me. Plus countless more, because I know there were other matches besides the one I was in.

If they are taking action when should I expect it? So I can make a new account now and hope to get my Ambassador status back soon.

 

If the enforcement team do take any action then everyone in that lobby will be banned.

There is no timeframe on if or when anything will be done by the enforcement team
