    Unwanted charges


    Tried to install a game with a brand new CD I bought for Christmas. Found out 2 days later we were charged for digital version as well. Check to see if we had digital version was installed and it wasnt. Pulled out the Cd from drive and game was not playable.
    Anyway as usual get run around instead of fixing error and giving refund. Basically I have paid for the game twice and they refuse refund on a digital game that wasnt played or Downloaded. They would be able to check what was done and it may well be an error
    on my part although i did not confirm purchase online but they muck me about for days trying to get a refund. Then email support stops responding when i ask for someone else to look into the matter. Anyone know how i can get this rectified? I dont care if
    its a credit refund or anything worth what I was charged.

    When you go to Contact Us to request a callback, follow these steps:



    Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

    Step 2 ----Select See other options

    Step 3 ----Select topic

    Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

    Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

    Once they call, explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

    No refund on a digital game 2 days after it was charged to me. Thats ridiculous. Evan after knowing I bought the CD and was trying to install it. Seeing what Playstation has to offer I think. Dont trust microsoft with my money any more.

    Make sure your address information matches your address information for the card you are using, and as far as charges, it usually takes about 48 hours for charges to be reversed

    have a look at your order history at the following link

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

    see if the multiple purchases show there.

    if they do and there is a refund option, click that on the unwanted items.

    if they don't show there go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us and click the contact us button.

    select Family and online safety as the category then select I want to protect my account as the topic.

    click Next then skip the Covid notification.

    scroll to the bottom and select Chat online or Request a call.

    this will get you through to Support and hopefully they will be able to make sure you don't get overcharged
