Unusual charge appearing on credit card for MicroSoft*Ultimate

You should contact your card issuer, and get the billers information (where it's from, who to contact). If this doesn't work, you can always contact a non-emergency police line, only if things are looking tough.

Also, there are many services that can help you get rid of useless subscriptions/weird charges. Check those out.

This is an issue because I didn't do it...I haven't noticed any unusual credit card charges of late, but if this is a sign my account's been hacked I'd like it taken more seriously.

To download It You must have a credit/debit card in your Microsoft Account, the credit/debit card will appear when You are going to buy but you are gonna be charged If You have Live Gold.

Hi , what has worked for a lot of people is to select the payment option to use as Microsoft points rather than your credit card. There appears to be a glitch if you try to charge nothing to your credit card which makes sense I guess.

Thanks. I can confirm this is true. Even though it appears as it will charge your card the full amount. You still select your credit card then the next screen will ask you to use the balance.
