    I posted this one in another one but was instructed to do so here also.

    I cannot hear any person in party chat regardless of NAT types on my account ""(Xbox One) I have an open NAT and I have been in a party with 7 different people over the last 3 days and haven't heard a single person.

    I have tried clearing my cache, deleting my profile and reinstalling it, I opened my ports long ago to open my NAT, reset my modem, and made a different profile.

    On the new profile I can hear party members but now I can't speak to them since I am not actually in a party with them as it is my other account. Now making a new profile as a permanent fix isn't feasible what so ever. I have too much time into games where
    resetting would be pointless. I play Elder Scrolls Online every day and so I do not feel like spending another 500 hours getting to where I am at. Not to mention my gamer score other games and DLC's I have purchased.

    So the issue seems to be with the account "" as much as I was told it wasn't. I was told to have the other people in the party mess with their ports which is ridiculous as I can't have every single person I party with mess with their ports just
    so I can hear them. Secondly it can't possibly be my connection since I can still hear them on the other account using the same network.

    I have talked to FOUR reps over the course of 2.5 hours. All of which called this case "Weird" and "Unusual". That's a bad sign then the support tells you that it is weird. Finally the last rep decided that chat wasn't working and said take it to the forum.

    At first I was patient but now I am getting irritated because I must repeat myself five times for them to realize just exactly what I said. I know you guys are trying but my account can't be working properly if this happening to just the one I use and not
    the one I made as per the request of a rep.

    I can hear people in game chat just fine and have conversations with them. So my mic isn't messed up. That doesn't really help either because I'd like to talk with my friends who don't want to play the same game I play all the time.

    This forum post seems like a waste of time because now instead of getting help asap I have to wait for replies and constantly check back to get the help I need.

    I apologize if this comes off as mad but at the moment I am quite irritated at my Weird and Unusual case.

    I was now told it is an account issue.

    Sorry to hear it. If support say that the issue lies with the account then you'll need to call them back and have them Escalate it to technical support.

    In the meantime here are a couple of things to try.

    1. Power cycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down

    2. Delete your profile from the console, power cycle then re-add it to the console.

    Hopefully, with luck, either one of those things will resolve the issue without the need to call support and escalate.

    Hi. "Unusual" and "Weird" Case about Party chat. :) Since you've probably already tried a lot of steps in that 2.5 hours you've talked with support, it may just be best to get clarification here before we go further.

    Someone from chat or phone sent you to the forums specifically after talking with them about this issue? Do you know if they referenced a specific forum? It might be that they meant to refer you to a specific place here that we can direct you to, if that's

    Sorry you were sent here. However, these forums are populated mainly by gamers like yourself and have no real access to specific troubleshooting tools. Official support is your best option here. I'd recommend contacting them again and, if the situation
    cannot be resolved by who you're chatting with, have them escalate it.

    Okay, no worries, man. I think that the being in a party and chatting outside the party like you said, might be the case, but I can't say for certain, because I've not run into that myself. Really weird!
