    Unused gamertag


    I found a gamertag that I really want but it is currently being used by an account with no gamerscore, no friends, and no live. The account has a default Xbox 360 picture as well. Is there anyway I would be able to get this gamertag for myself or will it be forever unavailable.

    You can't buy unused gamertags I'm afraid. You will have to wait until Microsoft release the unused gamertag which they do occasionally. It could be years though.

    Nope. Not by a long shot. I would even call them "errors", either. It is just plain laziness, and misdirection. They send people here because it's too hard for them to do what they are paid for, and help their customers themselves.

    Gamertag with no star rep or gamertag and unlimited live with the same gamerpic are refered as "V1s"

    They are accounts that were used on the original Xbox and were never transfered to the Xbox 360!
