Unsuccessful UPnP

So, I've used a mobile hotspot for internet for almost a year and suddenly UPnP is unsuccessful. I cannot fix the problem because I use a mobile hotspot. Also, on my console it states the the Xbox Live Core Status is being serviced but on Xbox.com/status
it states that is fully functional. I also just purchased a DLC on Fortnite. It was only $5.33 after tax but I don't have my V-bucks or skin that came in the pack. The charge is pending on my card and if I try to purchase again it states that I have already
purchased that item and I need to download it from My Games and Apps. It is not available for download on My Games and Apps. I also can't use party chat or join or host games. Error code 0x800c0005 has appeared several times and troubleshooting
from that problem is also unproductive. How do I do anything about any of these problems???

Not sure what links you have tried but if you haven't already tried this one give it a shot. UPnP not successful in your network settings

If that doesn't work try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. While the console
is off unplug your router for 3 to for minutes the plug the power cords back in let the router reset and then restart the console.

Nat type is staying at strict. My upnp is staying unsuccessful. I've been to 2 different links and tried everything from YouTube almost. Any suggestions?

 

You can try to power cycle the console. If that doesn't work, then I would recommend connecting it to a WiFi network and try it that way.

 

I have the same issues from time to time as i too use the hotspot on my phone. Its the only option way out where i live, but i have unlimited data using straight talks plan... Anyway yeah ive never had a successful upnp but i suppose its no big deal since
i get by fine most of the time... NAT i can usually just hit "check again" till it shows "open" ... Ive nitinot that there are just some folks that i cant run with on games due to them killing my signal strength for some reason, muting the mic can raise your
signal too... Sorry i dont have a solid answer for you as i am mostly just relating cause i have some of the same issues and also need help with this mess.. Good luck!

 

Im having the same issue after having used the same hotspot for 4 years , netgear 815s on at&t. Who is your provider? this issue just started for me when core sevices went down the other night.

I can deal with the NAT being strict since att wont provide a static ip, but party chat has never been an issue until this no universal plug and play came up.

If you have already attempted troubleshooting for the error code, please visit our Xbox Support site in order to setup a call or live chat with one of our representatives.
You mentioned the charge is showing up as pending on your end, try checking your Order History and make sure the purchase
went through. Let us know how it goes!

 

The charge came out of my account today. I believe that it may purely be because of my mobile hotspot, so I am going to try it at a friend's house on their Wi-Fi before I reach out to more resources. Thanks for the help!

 

Mine is AT&T also. That is so strange. I wonder what changed...??

I think it may be AT&T...? I have no clue what's going on, but the only access I have to internet is mobile data and mobile hotspot. We can get internet where I live but it averages about 500 KBPS. Which can run... well just about nothing. So I'm not sure
what I can do. I can still play but anytime I want to use party chat or purchase something I'll have to be on a normal network. Which is really really inconvenient. Thanks for reaching out! I hope that we might get some better answers soon!

 

Its att, i verified with connecting at a friends house with no issues, i also purchased a new hotspot with no help before i did that. Att added another block because im getting a double NAT with the new hotspot by itself, and the upnp with it in ip passthrough.
They dont fix soon ill be switching providers after 20 years of being with them.

 

I've always liked Verizon more. I think I may switch my service back to them even though it tends to be more expensive. Apparently it's worth the extra money.

 

I agree with switching, ive seen a slew of posts already for att hotspot issues that just started this past week. Att is no help theyll just tell you they dont support upnp even though it hasnt been an issue for years connecting, good luck!
