    unstable download speed


    Im downloading a game and my download speed oscilates beetwen 10 mb/s (wich is my regular download speed on my computer) and 0kb/s so my xbox one is having 0kb/s download speed during a few seconds but stay connected to the xbox live. meanwhile my computer
    can download at 10mb/s all day long what am i supposed to do ? its taking me 5 days to download a game.

    Yup same problem here Salival. Xbox just posted a service alert though so they're aware of it now. It's happening to many of my friends as well.

    High packet loss, unstable speeds

    I just got my replacement box from repair a couple days ago due to a faulty disc drive in my day one edition. It worked great out of the box even though I believe I lost my day one only to get a refurbished back, but whatever. I set it up Saturday with no
    issues and had been playing destiny, ac: unity and some minor master chief collection when that actually worked. Now today I get home from work and I get booted from destiny after 5 minutes. And again. And again. With new patch I figured OK must be buggy..
    check my network status on a whim and I'm getting between 14%-27% packet loss and varying download and upload speeds. I have 75/75 fios, and it has never been an issue. After spending the last 5 hours running speed tests, swapping cables, resetting my modem,
    and even hooking up my not yet returned original console and still have the same issues. I am completely at a loss about what is wrong and it seems to me like it is xbox live as that is the only variable I cannot physically test. Or both consoles I have suddenly
    have NIC issues out of the blue.

    Yea i understand that but you would of thought Microsoft would still be able to provide more than an unstable 1mb/s download. I mean steam and even battlenet have ok download speeds in the current climate. I guess what im trying to say is it something
    i can try and fix my end or have i just got to suck it up and let the download run over night and hope one day speeds will improve with xbox beta pc app in the futuer?

    It does support the use of a 3G dongle, however the connection speed is very unstable, so don't expect to be having much fun on pvp online games!

    What does NAT Type mean?

    No idea then. If it were a stable speed with both I would just say it is the security type. But if one is unstable it may be a networking issue. Hard to say without specifics.
