Unsportsmanlike/ Toxic players have tantrum and get you bannned

Xbox live reporting service is entirely broken. In short a childish player had me banned because i beat him in pvp on sea of thieves. This user accused me of cheating because he had a highly explosive object on his or her ship and i had a lucky shot with a cannon ball resulting in his or her ship sinking. This was our conversation and i was immediately banned by Microsoft enforcement without just cause. This is not how i expected Microsoft to conduct business. Ive been a live member since Xbox 360 with a perfect record. I play games to have fun, but the way this happened was unacceptable, and seens to be the player who throws the first tantrum, or behaves in an unsportsmanlike way has power over the other.

This service is completely broken, putting unsportsmanlike players in the power seat banning other players because they lost in a multiplayer battle. This is not how Xbox should be treating loyal patrons without a prior history of being reported.

But live streaming "partners" of Xbox studios games swear ocassionaly on their streams, but because they generate profit for Microsoft they can speak freely. Cool I get it. I don't need to exclaim a statement by using profanity when talking to people who feel they need to take the most extreme measures on very insignificant topics.

Seems to me it's working exactly as it should. You used profanity in your message at another player and the suspension goes into effect. Nothing to do with the other person losing in a game. Doesn't matter how long you've been subscribing to the service, you agreed to abide by its rules when you signed up however long ago that was.

As your screenshot contains profanity, I have asked for it to be removed.

My best advice is to avoid interacting with toxic players and report them if they had violated the code of conduct (if they insult you don't insult back).

You can't avoid toxic people though lol

On top of that, every instance of intentional teamkilling and other unsportsmanlike conduct I report it and nothing ever happens.

"Block and report" doesn't help anyone because it doesn't work.

I already reported, but I'm just not blocking him so I can get evidence. I don't know how many other players he's been toxic to. So if I have evidence, I can get he/she banned.

I don't want him to bully/be toxic to other players, outside dming players toxic messages, he keeps taunting in-game as well..

Unfortunately we have to do what we have left is to report the problems that Microsoft is doing, I know it is frustrating not to see an action right away but these are cases that need analysis and caution. Good luck in the games and have good matches.
