Unresponsive controller

So my controller is unresponsive but connected. It's not in my xbox controller list, but it's connected no vibration feedback when holding the Xbox button and no movement when using joysticks or d-pad. When I tried rebooting it wouldn't reboot until I restarted the Xbox and after then it still wouldn't respond with the console, if u have any ways of fixing send me a message over the xbox and I'll respond in reasonable time
