Unresponsive and laggy dashboard on the xbox one s

I can definitely understand how this kind of thing could be concerning.

If you want to access the solution on an Xbox directly, you can always do so by using the Microsoft Edge web browser on the console. I wanted also to suggest that if you are having problems with those apps behaving strangely or giving you those errors, that
you might want to try a soft factory reset of the console. It's a factory reset of the console that clears problematic data but doesn't uninstall any games or apps. IF your network is reflecting well, and you know all the sign-in information for your gamertags
(as they will need to be redownloaded) follow the steps outlined in How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and select
the options denoted Reset and keep my games & apps.

I believe it may be as simple as a Power Cycle

Restart your console from the Power Center

1. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center.
2. Select Restart console.
3. Select Restart.

It is quite a common occurrence with the system but sometimes power cycling or going for an update solution can fix your problem but at the same time could be a wide spread bug and may need some.fixing and might have to wait

Here's what I've found when looking up the error code 0x800701e7:

To resolve this problem, use the Xbox One System Update Solution:

1. Go to the
   Xbox One System Update Solution.
2. Select I am getting an error message or an error code.
3. Select I am getting an error code.
4. Scroll down the screen and select 800701e7.
5. Follow the instructions in Step 4 to successfully update your console.

I have never manually updated it. And i cannot recall the last auto update.
