Unregister From Xbox One Preview Program

According to everything I've read in order to unregister from the Xbox One Preview Program I should have an Unregister button in the Xbox One Preview Registration app. However all I have is the join button that's been there since the beginning. Any other
ways of unregistering? The updates come way too frequently for my taste especially since I don't leave my Xbox One in standby mode overnight.

How do I remove myself from the preview program ? I swear my Xbox has been acting up because of the program updates. I am fine waiting until all the bugs are ironed out and updates are released to publicClick to expand...

In the registration app there's an option to unregister.

This is just a little misunderstanding as is not the preview registration app you need to use to unregister, but the dashboard preview app.

In the dashboard preview app you find a tile named "registration". Click this tile and change the status of your console there. You will then be unenrolled from the preview program as soon as the current wave has gone public. Until then you will see the
status "unenroll pending".

Can you please remove me from the Xbox live previews?

I am in able to do this using the app since I wasn't able to download it and phone support did confirm that I was in fact registered to receive the updates however I am fed up with all the bugs that come along with them.

Please move over to the preview program support forum and post your request there as there are three program managers of the preview so are able to help you. Thxs for your understanding.

Issue should be fixed with the current build you can manually download at settings / system if it has not been downloaded automatically yet.

To unregister your console from the preview program pse use the preview dashboard app, go to registration and charge the status there. You will be unregistered from the preview program after the current wave then.

Ah ok. Then your console is really registered in the preview program as the 1409 is the newest beta version.

So as I think you bought the console used and are not wanting to participate in the preview program, there are two possibilities for you:

1. Ask the one you bought the console from, to have the console unregistered. He can do this using his gamertag and the dashboard preview app on that console.

2. Send a PM to "XB1R Hermes" or "Miss Portia" letting them know you want to be removed from the program. They may be able to help you out and unregister your console from the program.
