Unreadable gift card pin number

I bough a gift card for my Xbox one from dollar general and the receipt with the pin number is not visible. The cash register was almost out of ink so I only got some of the pin number. They wouldn't refund me so what do i do?

Do you mean 19 digit code then the scratch off one? As mine has a 19 digit code then next to that is the scratch of thing. Am on the game.co.uk website now I have clicked on the gift card option and it wants a digit code and a pin code. When I click on info
it says Your 19 digit gift card number and 4 digit pin code on the back of the gift card. Not sure if I have the correct card you see.

 

Forza 7 Sweepstakes

I won the $500 American Express gift card from the Forza Sweepstakes. I received the email and the gift card in the mail last week. The card needs to be activated before using with the last 4 digits of the buyers phone number. I received this card as an
instant win prize, how am I going to be able to use it if I don't have the pin?

 

if you have the receipt they should re print that code I think.

 

Right when i got i yesterday i told them all.about it but they said the couldn't do anything about it. I kinda went off on them cause they are supposed to keep the ink in the register. There is another number on the reciept and they said call xbox support
and give it to them and they would add the money but i cant even see that

 

How can they reprint it if they cant see it though?

 

Your retailer has a responsibility for what they sell you and the quality of that item. You should demand a refund or a replacement

 

I explained everything to them and told them that if I couldn't get the pin number then it was gonna be worthless and cost me money. I got pissed off at the manger and they simply said that they couldn't refund. And I did ask them for another one and I got
shut down on that too! So many stores in this town are nothing but screwed up with crap employee's
