    Unreadable disc with a downloaded game


    I Just downloaded saints row 2 and it says unreadable disc while it's a downloaded version.

    Hard Drive cause unreadable disc errors and other issues

    Same issue, I get the "disc is unreadable" error, but even with downloaded games that have no disc. The error appears after 3 loading screens with all of my games.

    Try clearing the cache. Hopefully this will help.

    Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

    ◾Select Storage or Memory.

    ◾Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

    ◾Select Clear System Cache.

    ◾When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes

    this guide     related to this specific issue. In addition to MaximumExtreme's recommendations above, I recommend trying all the steps provided in the troubleshooting guide to see if it helps resolve things.

    This is a game downloaded from Xbox Marketplace, not a disc.

    That's why I'm curious about the "Disc is Unreadable" error, when there isn't a disc involved.

    If the disc is unreadable press x on the game. download it and load it up. all you need is space.
