Unplayable Xbox live gold game.

Can someone help me? I was going to start For Honor today, and it gave me this message: 0x803f8003
Something went wrong

I looked it up and it says that my subscription has to be active. I checked, and my Xbox live subscription is still active. I restarted my xbox and For Honor still did not start. I decided to delete it then
reinstall the game. But when i went to reinstall, it wasn't there! I searched for it in the store, and i have to pay for it!

Does anyone know why i cant reinstall For Honor? I'd rather not pay for a game that i had for free.

if you have xbox live still then you have the games, if your xbox live runs out you lose access until you get more gold time.

has been this way since the beginning of games with gold.

gold games are provided free while you are subscribed, they stay attached to your account but will be unplayable without a gold sub.

360 games that are aquired from gold are yours forever even without gold.

A few people have been having this same issue. They own a game through Games With Gold or have a game through Gamepass and a message comes up saying they need to buy the game even though their subscription is active. It a bug that needs to fix.

However, you can try redownloading from your Payment & billing online. Once you see the game click on download
and it should appear under your "Ready to Install" list. Also, if your account set to "home" on your Xbox the game would download automatically to your Xbox.

You may want to sign out and sign back into your console. If you are unsuccessful, try to do a factory reset. There have been some issues lately. Happy Gaming (smiles)!
