    Unpair / forget / unasign headset from Xbox one


    I recently purchased steelseries arctis 9x and use it for both pc and xbox.

    It is really bugging me that it powers on the xbox when I turn it on and connects to the xbox when I want to use it for the pc only.

    How do I unpair the headset from the xbox? Ive looked through all the menus and can not find an option to do so.

    Please do not respond telling me to turn the xbox off at the mains when I’m not using the xbox as this is not an option. My partner is often using it to watch netflix etc if I am on the pc.

    I cant find any menu to alter settings.

    This doesn’t solve the problem of the headset connecting to the xbox automatically if the xbox is already on and I turn the headset on. The power on button for the headset makes it connect to the xbox automatically.

    This is the same the other way around, if I have the headset on and the xbox is turned on after, it will connect to the xbox automatically.

    I want to find a way to unpair them and I will just pair and unpair the headset everytime i actually want to use it on the xbox

    Xbox one has a "Auto Turn On" when any wireless device are turn on. You can change the wirelles connect of Arctis 9x to PC, with that i think you Xbox not turn on again with headset.

    If can't, try check on Xbox Acessories App on Xbox Box Apps, that have some configs to do on acessories.

    Did anybody try the reset? My concern is that even IF it did work, after I connected and used the headset with the xbox one again, then you'd have to do a reset again, everytime you wanted to use the headset on your pc.

    Perhaps turning off the "auto turn on" mentioned above will be the way to go:

    Xbox one has a "Auto Turn On" when any wireless device are turn on

    I just can't believe xbox one does not have a setting to "forget" the connect of a blu tooth device that has been paired.
