Unobtainable/Glitched Achievements in Microsoft Bingo (WP)

Thanks for following up, Misses Quinzel. Just want to add I am having the same issues (obviously, since we all are). I've contacted them through Twitter 3 or 4 times and never get a response. That's probably the most frustrating part: the group just never
replies. Even a "Yep, we got it and we're working on it" would be nice to hear. You are the first person to actually confirm something is being done to fix it. Thank you for being our voice!

I just want to say "Microsoft Casual Games" on Twitter have been useless at responding to me as well as others. I only got a response after pressing them. We really shouldn't need to have to press them for a response.

I hope this feedback can be noted and passed on. We as customers of Xbox, should not be made to feel ignored.

 

No offense Misses Quinzel, but I get the feeling that they will give the same solution for what happened in February. Which means its just going to be a big F U to us gamers. The issue from February was never resolved even though Support thinks it is, they
never fixed anything. Just like they will never fix this. They will probably come up with some BS about how it can be unlocked do to a glitch that they can't fix.

And by locking the topic for the February issue and telling us to not create new ones just goes to show that Support and Microsoft in general does not care enough about their core demographic to fix an issue that Microsoft itself is responsible for. I personally
have lost faith in Microsoft and their products. Especially since almost every day their is an issue with the Core Services, issues with Live, issues with signing into Live, and issues with Social connections (chat, multiplayer, joining friends in games, etc).

 

The issue in February is not the same as this one. No one can earn very specific achievements in this one game, while the issue in February was a service issue that resulted in various games and achievements not earned appropriately. If it happened on Xbox
One or Xbox 360 in the same manner, it would have likely been resolved the exact same way. Additionally, everything that could have been done on my end was done. I personally still don't have achievements from that situation, so I did want to do everything
I could to ensure you guys were taken care of.

Things take time to work on, especially when so much testing is involved. Additionally, with the launch of Windows 10, there's been several things that multiple teams have been working on here. I understand where your faith is being lost, and that pains
me to see. All I can do is assure you that they are working on it, and provide updates when I poke them a little bit.

 

Misses Quinzel, I do not place any blame on you, you are a liaison and have no control over what happens. And I know this is getting off topic, but since the other thread is closed its not like I can post my frustrations in there, and i'm sure that if I
created a new topic it would get locked quickly.

But, based on the solution given for the February issue, and your comment on "if it happened on Xbox One or Xbox 360 in the same manner, it would have likely been resolved the exact same way," then are you saying that the solution would have been to tell
us to go out and buy another console if it happened on the 360 or One? Cause a solution telling us to "obtain" a 2nd device isn't really a solution.

And unfortunately it seems that this is becoming the common solution for WP issues. Which is why I am wary about the so called fix for this game.

 

Getting sick and tired of hearing the same thing here. I'd like to hear a specific time frame of when this is going to be fixed. Why has this taken so long to fix? Using Windows 10 is simply not an excuse.

When you prod them, Miss Quinzel, can you ask them when in weeks or months it will be fixed?

As of yet, none of us have been given solid information if, at all, that these 2 achievements will be fixed.

 

EnjoyableCoffee, they will not give me a specific time frame, and understandably so. If they did, and it was not delivered that day, you guys would be more upset. For that reason, we are only told "sometime in the near future".

I have poked them a bit more today since it's been about a week since I heard from them. If I have any further information, I will be sure to post back in here.

 

Miss Quinzel, it is unreasonable that a time frame is not given. It is not understandable! For months, the community have been after a fix, including myself and we are not seeing any light at the end of the tunnel.

You only ever say the same thing, over and over! I've asked you a simple question and quite frankly I'm getting irritated now.

I have previously asked you when is the near future?

How do we know they are even working on a fix? Unless you can provide proof I won't believe it for a second.

 

I do understand about not committing to a release date but this game has been out 6 months - 1 year now so it does feel like it should have been fixed by now.

 

I personally would be happy if you gave us a time frame, if it doesn't get patched before the time frame I wouldn't be unhappy because I know some interesting info has been given, rather that you claiming to "poke" them every now and again just get's tiring,
and quite frankly I'm getting tired of hearing it.

 

+1 to wanting this fixed, or at least a confirmation that they are going to fix it by a certain time. Seems like this isn't a priority to fix.

 

I doubt it will ever be fixed. It will remain glitched and the solution/patch will be in limbo. I've already moved on and stopped playing the game. Why spend time on a game that doesn't work properly anyway?

Plus, like all Microsoft games, it overheats my phone and drains the battery like crazy. Which I find to be odd, since these games are pretty basic and don't appear to have a lot going on so they don't need all that much processing power. No other game that
i've download onto my WP drains my battery and causes my phone to heat to where it feels like it could you burn you like Microsoft games do (Bingo, Solitaire, Mahjong, Minesweeper).

 

As i said before they have been aware of the glitch since the game was soft launched. I notified them via twitter and they responded to that notification saying they were aware of it and working to fix it.

December 8th 2014 is when they said this.

If it gets a patch at all it will be for the Win10 release that is surely on the horizon.

You would assume 1st party games would be more inclined to be fully functional than 3rd party...

It is also tiresome to be constantly lied to. Instead of pretending that it is something that is getting worked on just say it isn't a priority.

People will still complain about the lack of support and question why broken games get released. But at least they won't be able to whine about being lied to.

 

The fact of the matter is, this SHOULD be a priority to get fixed. Company's should not release broken games whatsoever.
