Unlocked Xbox360 achievement not showing up on profile

It seems other people have this issue too. Like I said it is a xbox syncing problem. Probably the request to the server got lost or something (maybe it's pending). It should be really easy for them to check it out. Anyway, I agree that the developer or publisher cannot provide support for achievement related issues(since they are not glitched). By the way the games are not that old to compare them to N64. I regret redownloading my account, read about it on a forum. Also the achievements will not unlock again. I hope the achievement won't get lost. A friend of mine told me that he had the exact same issue and they appeared after two years on his account. Hopefully we won't have to wait that long.

I want to join this thread, because the EXACT same thing happened to me, only difference is the game it happened.

In my case it is Lost Planet 3, it was recently games with gold (means it was free). I immediately played multiplayer since GWG games revive the multiplayer for a while.

In my case the 'win online 25 times' achievement was not registered. I unlocked every online achievement in Lost Planet 3 and every achievement shows in my card, but this specific one gave me no score and outside of my profile it appears locked. This one achievement kind of 'slipped through' and did not register.

To point out how weird it is: Outside my card shows 13 achievements, but when I open the card it shows 14 achievement. It is like only my xbox knows that I have this achievement but Xbox Live does not. And the list does not update, even after unlocking more achievements.

Here some specifics:

- I played on the Xbox 360, so the Xbone itself is not really the problem.

- I was online, my missing achievement even has a timestamp (14.08.2021).

- I did not lose connection. I just unlocked the achievement and normally continued playing. The achievement not registering was only found out later when I checked my trueachievements profile.

- My friend on my Friendlist can not see that one achievement, either, but sees my other Lost Planet 3 achievements.

What I tried (though there are not many options regarding achievements):

- I unlocked several more achievements, but it did not help.

- I unlocked a campaign achievement in Lost Planet 3 OFFLINE, then went online with my profile to upload that offline achievement. My hope was to make the system scan my card again and picking up the missing achievement, and it has to scan my profile to find new offline achievements. It did not help either (and that re-scan thing was probably a wrong assumption).

- I did NOT delete my profile to redownload it. It is not a recommended method since data might get lost (including that achievement) and my profile is rather big (I unlocked a lot of stuff). I would rather avoid it and use profile deletion as a last resort.

And to avoid some rather ignorant answers (no offence Mateus):

This is a Xbox Live problem and not the problem of the game specific developers. I had the same thing happen in a different game, so Konami is not the problem. There is a site called trueachievements.com where achievement specific stuff can be checked like unlock percentage and which player unlocked what achievement on which day.

In short: If a developer messes up, it would affect all players, and not just me and a handfull other guys, and on a site like trueachievements news about faulty achievements spread REALLY quick. Lost Planet 3 and Silent Hill seem to work, since those achievements have been unlocked and registered recently.

And by the way, how realistic is the expectation that a developer will help out with an Xbox 360 Game? They are at this point so old, it is like asking Nintendo if they can help me with my N64 game.

And what can they do? Developers have no access to the achievement system. They can fix broken achievements (and they are not broken), but not the ones that 'slipped through' synchronization. The last ones are not broken and they unlocked, but the Xbox live system can not find them.

On a side note: trueachievements can't find my one missing achievement as well, but found the rest. Now I have a bizarre profile that completed the multiplayer without ever winning 25 matches. That might rise some eyebrows...

Yikes, losing my achievement is what I don't want to happen. Guess I will wait it out then.

And if it never synces with Xbox live, it will just give me one more reason to switch to Nintendo or Playstation.

I have a hard time to understand why a billion dollar company can not build a semi effective support and relies on volunteers whose solution pattern boils down to 'ask someone else, it is their problem'.
