only ea can unlink it, but there is another way to get in and unlink.

head over to https://www.ea.com/

click sign in then select the xbox logo and sign in with your xbox live account, here you can then unlink the ea account

To unlink your Xbox account from cross-play, you can follow these steps:



1. Go to the Xbox website and sign in to your account.

2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select "Settings."

3. Under "Account," select "Linked social accounts."

4. Find the account you want to unlink and click "Unlink."

If your account is linked to an EA account that you do not have access to, you will need to talk to EA to unlink the account. No linking or unlinking process is done on the Xbox side.

Hi!

I contacted Bungie and they said that they can unlink it so I needed to contact Xbox due to they cant unlink accounts even If I proved that im the owner of the bungie account.

Yes I have tried unlinking from both places. Given that when I unlink from one and it says I have no more unlinks for the year it seems odd that it is resetting back to 1.

Yes I have the new XBox app. None of the other Xbox games I have installed are having an issue. They have all properly synced to my profile and therefore I'm seeing achievements unlock. Again, the only reason I'm trying to unlink is so that 1 game will trigger a login prompt and access for permission to use my XBox profile again.
