    Hey the problem that i have is that my microsoft account that i had for the last i think almost 7-8 years got stolen and i couldnt recover it mostly becouse of microsoft poor support but anyways ive bought sea of thieves on steam and i had to link my xbox live account with my game or something like that. Now that i dont have my account my email and password for it got changed i cant play the game cuz it uses the stolen account and just throws me out of the menu to the start the game screen. Is there any way of getting my old microsoft account unlinked and link the other account?

    as you logged in from steam with the banned account it will now associate that steam account as banned too. you cannot avoid an xbox live ban by logging into an xbox live game via steam with a different account now.

    so if you managed to unlink the microsoft account and signed in with another then xbox live will know which steam account it is and will not let you on.
