Unlinking Microsoft from Java Edition

Unfortunately, once you link a Microsoft account to a Minecraft account, I am afraid they cannot be unlinked!

According to what's described on the Minecraft official page: "After you link a Minecraft: Java Edition account to a Microsoft Secure Account (MSA), the accounts are permanently linked and cannot be unlinked. "

This means that the Xbox Online support team won't be able to do anything about the situation, and my advice would be to get in touch with them once again to see what can be done about the case.

I apologize for the trouble and as much as I would love to get this sorted out as soon as possible, there is a dedicated team in handling the said concern.

I was really hoping there would be a more proactive approach that could be taken, if I'm being honest.

Mojang support is abysmal at getting back to users with issues. I submitted a form to their support staff three weeks ago regarding the same issue and have not received a reply. Other users have noted wait times of 3months -2 years for issues to be resolved, which is not ideal :')
