    Unlinking Epic Games account from my Xbox account


    I need help unlinking my Xbox account from Epic Games.

    I noticed a couple of days ago that my credits in rocket league were disappearing, turns out my Epic Games account had been hacked and information changed to Saudi Arabia.

    I attempted to get my account back - to no avail

    I attempted to get my xbox account unlinked from the hacked account - to no avail

    I am now stuck in a loop, Epic games say I need to verify ownership of the account before they can unlink it - that is fine, I appreciate that.

    I have provided purchase receipts, used IP addresses over the years, history on the account dating back to 2017 (when it was created) but still they want more from me.

    They are now stuck on one point - the original IP address used when first creating the account.

    They cannot tell me what date the account was created, the location of where it was created, whether it was created on a laptop/console/mobile.

    I managed to find my IP from 2017 (when I believe it was made), they said 'this has been used by the account but is not the original one'.

    Maybe I created it while on a friends wifi or another family household wifi....it seems an impossible task.

    I honestly find it absurd how much information they need, and that the former information wasn't enough...

    I bought rocket league in 2016 before Epic Games were even associated with them and at this point in time, I can never play rocket league on my account again. I went from highlighting an issue with my credits being taken, to being frozen out of rocket league all together.

    Can anyone please assist with this problem.

    Xbox Developer Account Linking and Unlinking

    you would need to login to the ea account on ea website and unlink from there, unless they have changed it simular to epic.

    Epic games changed earlier this year and locked accounts (you can unlink but only re link the xbox account with the exact same epic account)

    you need to log into your epic account to unlink it from your xbox account. go in your settings on epic and it should say linked accounts go to that n select unlink.
