Unlinking an email/parental email

So, if I understand, you account is an child account and you want to unlink your parent's account from yours? Unfortunately, child account are not allowed to be managed without and adult account attached, you can ask yours parent's (adult account owner)
to contact support and ask for a change of adult account, re-alocating the child account to another MSA adult

Have you gone into the setting gs and unlinked your email?

You have not created a parental account have you?

There's no way to unlink the Email unless you add a new email to the account, that means you need to use the second email you add

) , when that email is unlink, you can link it to your account.

If you remove this alias, you won't be able to use it to send or receive email through Outlook.com, but your existing mail will remain in your inbox.
