    Unlinking accounts


    Hi! So when I got an Xbox I didn’t have an account & my bf linked ours together. It’s been years since we’ve been together and our accounts our still linked. I would like my own account and would like to keep my gamer tag & data. If I remove him from the account will it delete all my data? He’s been paying for Xbox live for years now and I’m just on his account lol When I go to ‘Remove accounts’ & click his profile it says “UserMagr1s account will be deleted from this Xbox console, including any Kinect sign-in data, & any game progress that hasn’t uploaded. “ and so on. I don’t want to delete his stuff either obviously. Please help!

    All folders are in read-only mode

    Did you try to unlink OneDrive? (not stopping it, but unlink it)

    Click on OneDrive icon from task bar > Help & Settings > Settings > on Account tab, click Unlink this PC > Unlink account. Then try to change the folder not to read only, and finally sign in your account in OneDrive again.

    You can unlink the live account from your Skype ID by logging into your account at
    secure.skype.com/.../settings and clicking
    Unlink. Having unlinked the account, you can then re-link the account to the account associated with your Gamertag.

    Hello Croquette,

    As Javier stated you would need to go to the EA website to unlink the account. You can check their forums for information on how to unlink the account. Once it is unlinked you can then sign in with the account you want to link it.
