    Unlink Xbox Gamertag on Microsoft account to add an Alias


    I'm trying to unlink a Xbox Gamertag that im not using on my Microsoft Account so that I can use it as an Alias on my old Microsoft Account wich was created on gmail. If this is possible please help me out >_<

    To keep your game data and games you'll need to keep the email.

    But you can assign an alias to log in.

    Your Gmail can be associated to your original email and then you can log in with your Gmail account and have all your info and purchases etc.

    You will still see the email attached to your gamer tag.

    Ultimately you risk losing your purchases, it's simpler to just make a new gamertag.

    If you wanted to share purchases and xb live you can use another account add them as a family member and share them.

    You can't use the same email again on a different Xbox account, this are linked permanently and only way to unlink its deleting the Email
