Unlink Facebook from old Xbox account

in short old xbox live account lost, still want same Facebook on new account, can't access old xbox account to unlink, and Facebook doesn't show my Facebook as connected but when I try connecting Facebook to new account it says it's logged in to the old
account.

You'll need to unlink your Facebook account with your old Xbox account through your Facebook settings in relation to the apps that you allow your data to be shared with.

1. Log-in to your Facebook account from your computer or web browser on your Xbox.

2. Once logged in, at the top right of the page will be the settings dropdown. Click the settings button then in the dropdown box select Account Settings.

3. On the left side of the page 4th box down select Apps.

4. Under Apps you Use, locate Xbox Live, to the far right of the app you will see an "x". Select the X to remove the app.

This should unlink your Facebook account with the old Xbox account. If you need further assistance with unlinking your Facebook account with the apps you share data with, I suggest getting in contact with Facebook support.

I closed it ages ago. Thing is I deleted every single app i used Facebook to log into, on Facebook itself. So xbox and Microsoft should be gone but i still get the same response every time saying

"This Facebook account is already linked to another Xbox account. Unlink it or try a different Facebook account"

I have tried these exact steps on my phone, laptop, and xbox web browser. But there is no Xbox or Microsoft app linked for me to remove? Is there any other place it could be?

How long ago was it that you closed out the Microsoft account? When you close an account, you are still able to access it if within 60 days. If it is outside of that 60 day window then the account will simply be closed and unfortunately we are unable to
access the account at that point. You can always reach out to
Customer Support to see if they are able to pull up your account and help you recover it.
