    Hello, my name is Carl and I am quite infuriated. Here is a brief version of a long story that explains the reason as to why I am quite upset.

    My account was compromised via phishing in February of 2021, and I contacted Microsoft support; this has occurred to me twice. After contacting Xbox support, I was able to get my account reinstated, and I was pleased. After ten months, I've been given a permanent ban for something I didn't even do. After I got my account back, there was roughly 400,000 gamerscore added to it, and I had no idea how it got there. I assumed it was okay since when my account was stolen, the hacker opted to put the gamerscore on it, and I thought this was fine considering no Support Agent I spoke to brought up the issue, so I thought nothing was wrong with the account and everything was fine. Now I'm being banned indefinitely for something I didn't even do. Why am I being banned now if there was gamerscore added to the account through unauthorised use? If it could've been removed earlier when I contacted Xbox support earlier. I'm astonished at how idiotic this whole incident is because if there was something wrong with the gamerscore, why wasn't it altered when I contacted Xbox Support? The gamerscore was added when the account was compromised, and nothing was said to me about it, so I thought it was all good, but now I am getting banned indefinitely. Why?

    Yes, I understand, and I have filed a case review, but I highly doubt anything will happen since the TOS states that tampering with gamerscore leads to a suspension. The gamerscore will be removed, but for me, I got a permanent ban for gamerscore that was added to my account via unauthorised use without my consent, the person who had my account (who gained access via a phishing email and a wide array of shady manipulative tactics which I fell for) added it. I am getting penalised on his behalf since he added that gamerscore through unauthorised use. Why is it now costing me my own Xbox account when nothing has been said to be about the gamerscore when the account was given back to me nine months ago? I don't know what will happen now, I filed a case review and I really don't think anything is going to happen.

    Well, my account has been compromised twice. However, I don't think anything fishy had happened the second time. I know now that the gamerscore, which was added to the account, was added via unauthorised software. I have reported this incident twice. However, nothing was said to me about the gamerscore so I thought it was alright and nothing was wrong because if there was surely it would've been removed, right? Wrong, now I am held accountable for something I wasn't even in charge of or had control over.
