UNKNOWN ERROR - Possible IP block/ban on my profile

Hi everyone

I've had a lot of Xbox 360 connection issues in my years of playing online, but I always managed to sort them out without coming here. My Xbox has finally beaten me and so here I am, begging for help. Sorry if this post is slightly long but I want to clearly
explain the situation, what I have tried to do and how I have come to my conclusion of some sort of specific IP block/ban on my profile.

I live with my girlfriend, we have two Xbox 360's, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom. We also have two Xbox live accounts, this one is my girlfriend's, my one is "kippiyes". My girlfriend's old profile, "deathbeing", is inaccessible because google
deleted her associated Gmail account. We had a power surge a few weeks ago and had to get two brand new Xbox 360's. We decided to use this opportunity to get a Xbox Live account for her and just start over with our two brand new Xbox 360's. So that would be
this profile.

Now we play interchangeably on the two consoles and we are frequently both logging into both consoles. So basically we have two console constantly switching between two profiles. Most of the time we play together and I have had previous issues with NAT etc.
but that's not the situation here. We getting an error code of 8015190B when trying to connect to Xbox Live with this account. This must be a false error code because when i run connection tests they are always perfect and according to the status, this profile
has no issues. The same error code and issues occur on both consoles when trying to log in with this profile. I can however log in perfectly on both consoles with our other account, "kippiyes". So this made me think there was some sort of account issue with
this account, but in order to determine that I decided to try and connect the consoles to my 3G router rather than my ADSL router. This happened to work perfectly and when connected to the 3G router, we find no connection issues and this profile connects to
Xbox live perfectly on both consoles. What I did then was reset my ADSL router multiple times, fiddled with all the advanced settings in order to sort out the issue. I have not been successful and we cannot afford to play as much as we would like to over 3G
and we have to get this working on our ADSL connection.

So to summarize...

This profile CANNOT connect to Xbox Live when using the ADSL router but CAN connect on other routers.

The other profile CAN connect to Xbox Live when using the ADSL router as well as on other routers.

My conclusion to the situation is that there is some sort of block/ban which has been implemented on this profile when trying to connect to this one specific IP address or ADSL line.

If anyone knows of any way to possibly resolve this, please let me know. The last thing I want to do is have to get my girlfriend a third Xbox Live Profile, it really upsets her when she loses all her characters, game saves and friends. I also really don't
play much without her, so from my side, please get us back online.

Most people have something called a dynamic IP. Meaning that it changes whenever they connect to the internet/reset their router.

The only possible way to IP ban would be to block every IP in use by the wrong-doers ISP.

it indicates there is something wrong with your Profile data and provides a possible solution

but a: 169.254.211.83

your xbox states it did not recieve a correct ip address with automatic Settings.

you could give it a try with Manual Settings, just check on your roomates xbox which ip address this one is using (usually 192.168.***.***). for the ip address the last block has to be different, the 3 others have to be identical, every other entry should
be identical: subnet, Gateway, dns servers

 

This is our other profile which works perfectly on both Xbox's at all times. I hope someone can help us out!

just remove all profiles from both consoles and enter again, this should solve your issue
