Universal 3rd Party Headset Adaptor

I've been reading since launch that Microsoft will be releasing an adaptor for those of us who own headsets from the 360 that will enable both game and voice audio to work through the XBOX ONE.

Initial reports last year were stating that this would appear in January but so far I have not seen it appear nor have I seen any word from Microsoft of a potential release date/update.

Can someone at Microsoft please give me/us an update as I know many are waiting to use their Turtle Beaches/Trittons/Others

Turtle Beach Headsets delayed until early 2014

Seems MS aren't allowing 3rd Party headsets until next year due to the need for the MS-made adaptor.

I seen a video that titanfall headset is getting an adaptor, so it should be soon that a universal one will come out...

 

The headset is on it's way and will be released with some upcoming headsets like the Turtle Beach Ear Force Atlas and Polk 4 Shot. The date that it will be sold on it's own is currently unknown but hopefully it will be sometime around the launch of these
2 headsets.

 

I am predicting that the adaptor will not come out for another few months. The reason I think this is because MS have partnerships with Polk and Turtle Beach headsets and will want to sell as many as possible. If they release an adaptor before this the sales
of these headsets will go down. People would just buy the adaptor for their other 3rd party headsets.
