Unique problem with XBL account

So quite recently, with some friends wanting me to join them in a game that connects to Xbox live, I have come to realize that my Xbox live account is not associated with a Microsoft account. This is because I hadn't been on my Xbox in 6 years. So, I need
to do that. There is, however, a very big issue. Some 7 or so years ago our house was broken into and my Xbox was stolen. Long story short, my account was then set up with my dad's email. Now here's the problem, my dad's email was with Verizon. When Verizon
and Fronteer had their merge my dad's @verizon turned into @fronteer. So the old email no longer exists. I need to be able to sign in to my account in order to change information on it and I can't do that. I have no idea if my account is even fixable at this
point. Any input would be appreciated. I really don't want to start over with a new account.

I had this problem once almost the same, I contacted the support section and they helped me out.

I recommend using the mail telling your exact story, I bet they will do everything they can.

May I ask why such information is needed???? Are you developing a game??? Seems like a developer would have those numbers....

I would like to know if it is possible to find out how many people are playing what games on xbox live? And, If it is possible, where do I look?
