Unique problem restarting wont/refuses to fix

My xbox was running flawlessly until my download for apex legends suddenly stopped. Soon after my xbox keeps giving the same error when I try and load a few games and this error is “took too long to load”. Ive reset my xbox from the guide menu many times,
ive held the power button on my xbox for 10 seconds, ive unplugged the power for a few seconds, ive unplugged the internet then turned it back on. The updates tab in the “my games and apps” menu is stuck loading and again my other games are taking too long
to load causing the error and sometimes when I load the xbox assist or settings this loading error hits me. Now my xbox has uninstalled my preorder ~33 Gb for Anthem despire the fact I never touched it and I cant install it as pressing install does nothing.
Its been like this for 4+ hours and resetting doesnt change anything. My only concern is that my xbox 1 model was the first ones to hit stores back around like 2015, but even then it runs all my games flawlessly. My xbox is also connects via ethernet. What
could be wrong?

At first i tried a hard reset where I held the power button and when it shut down i unplugged the power and left it for a while and when I plug the power back in and turn it on nothings changed and i’m attempting to try your idea to reset the xbox and
have it wipe any memory that isnt in the hard drive but issue is when I try to move just 1 thing to the hard drive it takes too long and just ends up not doing anything.

Sorry to hear about your issue. You could also try a factory reset of your Xbox. It will restore the original operating system. There are two different types of factory resets. One that completely wipes the Xbox hard drive and the other will keeps your
games and apps and only restores the operating system. I would select the option to keep your games and apps during the reset. If that doesn't work, then do the full reset. You will need to know your account information, including password, to log back
in once your Xbox has been restored. Below is a link with instructions on how to do the factory reset.

I would also suggest adding an external hard drive for your games and apps if that is an affordable option for you.

It could potentially be one of many things... two ideas I have would be either a shortout somewhere in the processor, or a hardware issue with the RAM or something like that, since every time I have had your issue, simple troubleshooting worked for me.
If you have already gone through all the troubleshooting steps, my suggestion would be either support.xbox.com or make an appointment to have a tech in store do a diagnostic on the hardware.

It might be time to contact the warranty/service team to see if they can assist you. There might be some internal problems there.
