    For almost 20 years, that's right 20 years I have had my unique gamertag. Now with this new system I have numbers behind it, do not want it. HOW DO I GET IT OFF.

    If it only happens when you log into Activision COD then it may be an issue with Activision's servers and not Microsoft/Xbox. I'd recommend reaching out to Activision's support team. Hope that helps!

    If you have never changed your gamertag, then you shouldn't have any numbers on the end of it. That looks like the system has gone wrong somewhere. Quit the game you are playing and check your gamertag on the Xbox dashboard or Windows (if you are using
    Windows). If your gamertag is what it should be, then it will be an issue with the game.
