Uninstalling DLC

I can't find a way to delete the Assassin's Creed DLC on my Xbox One since I uninstalled the game. I do not have the game anymore and I can't find a place to delete the DLC.

I am almost absolutely sure that as soon as you uninstall the game, all DLC's are installed too. If you go to My Games and Apps, then on the right where it says your uninstalled games, find Assasins's Creed, click the menu button on your control (Three Lined
Button) and click manage game. It should tell you if the DLC is installed or Uninstalled.

The game is not on the list and I had it on disc. When I go to the DLC in the add-on store it says that it is still installed. All of the rest of the DLC for the game is uninstalled, except the 2nd multiplayer add-on says it is still installed.

 

Ok, so it could just be a glitch. Also, even if the game is on disk, it should show up the right in my games and apps-games.... If you still don't see it, do these standard xbox one troubleshooting steps....

Go to settings, then Blue Ray, then clear persistent storage.... Do this 3 times.

Then, go to network, advanced, Advanced Mac Address, and the.n clear. Click restart. This will turn your console off and back on. Then, turn your console off, unplug the power brick for one minute, and then plug it back in and turn the console on.. This
is the usual fix for almost anything and any ambassador or Xbox service rep will tell you to do this as the standard fix.. After this, check if it is still saying installed on the DLC

 

Did everything. It stills says Installed. Nothing has changed.

Anything else I can do? Is there no really way to delete DLC after Uninstalling the game?

 

If it on,y one DLC is still installed out of many deleted there is nothing really you could do as this is probably a glitch...l I would try contacting Xbox Support once and see if they have any answers. I think the only way from this point would be to reset
your console. (although I am sure you don't want to do that)

When uninstalling a game and its DLC go to games/apps hit menu button on game tile hit manage game, above game tile you will see white box manage all click that then uninstall all, don't worry its just for that game and its DLC.

Install the game again then do above.

Hey, everyone! I am popping in here to see if you are still experiencing this issue. Are you unable to uninstall DLC for a game that you do not own still? If you are, could you please provide me with your

console's operating system? Please post back the entire OS, including the stuff in the parentheses. Once I have this, I can pass it along to the appropriate teams. Thanks so much for providing this information for us!

 

I had the same problem some minutes ago, when I deleted AC4 Black Flag. The two DLCs disappeared from my list and I couldn't delete them.

I fixed the problem in this way:

1) I still had the tile with AC4 on my dashboard, so I went there and pushed the menu button (the small one with the three line, just to be clear)

2) I could manage the game and access again to the list of DLCs there, so I could delete everything

If you don't have anymore the tile with the game on your dashboard, you could try to go to the store, find the DLCs you own and are still installed and run them. I suppose, and hopefully I am not wrong (but I couldn't test it), they will try to launch the
game. The system will surely ask you to install the main game once again, just say no. In that way the tile with the game should appear once again on your dashboard and you should be able to access to the DLCs.

I have had this problem since l got my day one console l have got rather large dlcs from battlefield 4,forza 5 and call of duty ghosts and havent been able to uninstall any of the dlcs from these packs when l unistalled the games l thought l will install
them again and play them again but with battlefield and cods big dlc packs at 4.2 gb ect that quickly took up space.This is something l think should have been thought off since everyone who got a console previous to the 1tb update console will obviously have
run out of space.I hope this design flaw will not be included in future consoles made by microsoft cause nothing is worse than getting a Day 1 console to only find out a year later l could get a bigger one if l waited a year later.Kinda makes ya feel stooged.
l aint buying 2 consoles and l didnt want to have to buy another external for my console either. Maybe in the next big update you could fix the file system so we can access dlc either l dont have a problem using it on my xbox 360 or my original xbox and l
think those ideas were thought of along time ago.Cheers.

 

Hey, dasweetdude! This thread is a bit old. This issue is ongoing, though. We are currently looking into resolving this. Right now, the solutions are:

• Reinstall the game by downloading it if you had the digital version, or borrowing a disc. From there, you can uninstall all of the data that you need to. A friend can even download the game to your console if they add their account to your console.
  
• Factory reset your console.
  

While this isn't always the best scenarios, they are the only options at this time. Please keep an eye out for any updates on this!
