    Uninstalling and update problem


    Ok a few days ago I tried to update a game and it never ended updating so I tried to uninstall it and it would not uninstall I have tried stopping the download and it stills says that it is updating i also tried turning my xbox off and on as well as unplugging
    it at the wall for 5 minutes and it still doesn't want to do anything

    Finaly finsished updates and problem solved. uninstalling and reinsatlling fix it.

    Stuck, PLEASE Help

    Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling? Might be a problem when Xbox installed from the disc or a problem with the update installing properly. If you try reinstalling - it's probably a good idea to do the reinstall/update without doing anything else on
    the Xbox. I'd also do a power cycle in between uninstalling and reinstalling.

    try clearing your console' cache by holding down the powerbutton on the console for 10 seconds.

    Reboot after that.

    Bump anyone have a solution for this? I think uninstalling the updates primarily the controller update and redoing them may fix the problem for me but have yet to find a way too. Is there anyway to uninstall updates?

    It may be related to windows update KB4550945. I've seen other people with this problem that after the update is uninstalled the game goes back to working. I cannot uninstall this update so I can't tell you for sure if it works or not.
