Uninstalling and Reinstalling Minecraft - effects on worlds

Your worlds are saved on the cloud, so uninstalling the game will not delete them. Just like game saves: you can delete them from the console but they will still be saved to the cloud (unless you remove them from the cloud too).

I believe it may be because you have the Beta Preview version of Minecraft on your Xbox! You are able to unenroll the Beta version of Minecraft through the Xbox Insider Hub app.

Follow this if you need:

Insider Content > Minecraft > Manage > Unenroll

You will need to uninstall and reinstall the game for this to take effect.

NOTE: Keep in mind that any worlds you have played as you were on the Beta version will be unplayable with the earlier version.

Is this on the console or is on PC? What steps have you tried ?

I have had to uninstall Minecraft and reinstall to fix this. It not a permanent fix as it will happen again at some point. Just make sure all your worlds are synced to the cloud.

I don't know if it matters, but just to be sure, is the same Microsoft Account (Xbox Live Account) used to sign into Minecraft?
