Uninstalling and reinstalling a game

If I were to uninstall Minecraft, would I lose anything such as worlds or purchases I made? Would I have to pay for the game again to reinstall it?

Hello,

If you reinstall Minecraft, you won't lose any Minecoins or anything you bought from the Minecraft Marketplace. However, you may have to reinstall worlds and texture packs you bought. You also won't lose any worlds downloaded to your system. You will be able to install it again by following these steps:

Go to My Games & Apps>Full Library>All Owned Games, and you can reinstall it there.

Are my worlds that I’ve created automatically saved to my system, or is there something I have to do so I don’t lose them when I uninstall?

Thanks for that and now kindly try to install with the hard drive plugged in. If it will not work, reformat will be the resolution.

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage.
2. Select your device, and then select Format.

The only thing I have to do now is reinstall everything. Are you aware if this will remove any passwords I had (Roblox fortnite WWE 2k22 etc.???)

Yes, The save games stay on the HD, so when you reinstall the game, you can start back up where you left off. I run out of space all the time LOL.

Thank you for letting me know. To check if it's the console or the hard drive let's try to install a game with the hard drive unplugged.

Please unplug the external hard drive then perform a powercycle before installing any game. Make sure to keep the hard drive unplugged.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

I was able to install stuff when it was unplugged (it worked when I clicked on MK11 but I paused because my internal storage is low on space) but I was able download stuff previously with it plugged in just not those certain games and apps. Should I pug in the hard drive and see if the power cycle fixed it or should I try something else now that we know it might be the hard drive?

(in my previous message I got external and internal confused, my 2tb hard drive is my external hard drive. My apologizes)
