Uninstalling a game that came with my laptop..?

So I'm having issues with Minecraft on my windows 10 laptop while purchasing Minecoins, it's saying that I need to have internet connection which I clearly do.

I've looked up this exact same problem someone else had, and the comment said to uninstall minecraft and re-install it.

Ok, So. My Minecraft came with my laptop, will I still be able to re-install it after I uninstall it? I don't wanna completely lose it.

I've done the suggestions up to uninstalling the game and this is where I get confused. This is a fairly new pc and my first time with windows 8.1. Why can I not figure out how to uninstall the game? It came pre-installed, it isn't on the list in the
change/uninstall programs. I went into the windows store and it doesn't give me the option to uninstall. Help?

Everything came back fine, reset and unplugged the router, reset the console and all tests came back positive, going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. If you are worried about whether you hold the entitlement to Minecraft, you can
sign in on the Mojang site or at
Microsoft.com to double check prior to uninstalling the game to ensure that it is listed as being owned by that account. Since most PCs now come with the game pre-installed, you may
wish to do those steps to make sure its associated with your Microsoft account log ins and if it is then you should have no issue in reinstalling it to the computer.

So i went and figured id mark this as an answer before i actually figured it all out, so it took me forever to find out if i actually own minecraft or not, i never did.. But I do know i for sure own the Minecraft Java Version.

So I went ahead and uninstalled it and it let me re-installed it, but it says i can try it or something but it doesnt mean i own it? This is really dumb, and the minecoin store still isnt working on my laptop, but itworks on my ipad,so now im basically playing
the game as a trial now after having it on my laptop since the day i got my laptop {march of this year}, kinda very frustrated.

Thanks for replying and keeping us updated. I'm sorry that you found the process frustrating as well.

I'm glad that you were able to reinstall the game to your PC. After looking into the differences between the version you have (the Java version) and the others (for Windows 10 or console), the Java version is the original Minecraft platform and has loads
of free content (like skins, texture packs, etc) as well as being free to own with purchase of your PC. The version of Minecraft for Windows 10 or for the console are not free and must be purchased, but you can always get the Windows 10 Beta version of the
game at no cost which may help out if you'd like to go that way.

You may want to check for any updates to Windows 10 or Java on your PC or
contact Mojang directly for the issue you're having with the Minecoin store though to see if they have any solutions for that issue since you have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game.

Oh I am aware of the differences between the versions, as I play both, I have the Java version as I accidentally bought it in 2016 I believe and wasn't aware of it, but yes I do have Java, but I also had the Windows 10 version on my laptop as like I said,
it came with my laptop when I got my laptop for my birthday in March of this year. But when I uninstalled it today, thinking it would fix the Minecoin Store In Minecraft, i restarted my laptop, and tried downloading it again, but now when I go to the game
in the Store now, it says " play it for now and buy it later" , which I am assuming means I only have a trial version...But it says nothing of that sort when I open the game up.

I may have to contact Mojang or something cause I don't see why I'd need to buy it again when I literally had it on my computer already.

Like, I have the billing info showing how far back I have had it for
