    Uninstalled game when i tried to update it


    There is a big issue. More of an unfair one. I was on my xbox one s today, watching youtube, before that playing Call of Duty WW2. Then i try to hop back on COD and it says there’s an update, so of course, i try and update it. but when i do it says “this
    may take a while” or whatever and then proceeds to install the game. well what the hell i have already installed the game why does it says this?? i have to install the full 55 GB game AGAIN! the game isn’t in my library, only in my “ready to install” section.
    i downloaded it on the xbox, not a disc. PLEASE HELP! I’m redownloading it right now Uninstalled game when i tried to update it :mad: but i sure as hell don’t want my stats reset or anything! And of course i didn’t hit the uninstall button so don’t wanna even ask me that because i would’ve known!

    My PC knowledge is limited, but have you tried uninstalling the game, updating drivers, and trying again?

    Tried to uninstalled demo, but it uninstalled the fulll game!

    Hello Richard Maddog,

    This is the first instance I've ever heard of something like this happening, as every game I've ever purchased on the Xbox Live Marketplace has replaced the demo. I suppose the only thing to do is to redownload the game, kind of a waste of time, but at least
    you don't lose anything but some time!

    No before update any update i ever cancelled never uninstalled any game let alone uninstall a game i haven't played in months and as for cancelling individual updates it used to, but I've tried to and doesn't anymore so i don't know when the last time

    I forgot to mention, when I left the updates uninstalled I only played singleplayer games. I'm not sure if you would be forced to update if you tried to play multiplayer.
