Uninstall controller update

I would like to know if it is at all possible to remove an update to your controller after of course already updating it. I updated my controller before I got the adapter for my stereo headset and would like to know if I can remove the update so I can install
it again with the adapter attached. I would like to see if this fixes these static/pop sounds I get while playing. Thanks to anyone willing to throw something my way.

After dashboard/controller update, controller no longer automatically assigns to me.

Didn't work. Is there some way for me to uninstall the controller update? I think that's what caused it.

If I install the CSR Harmony driver is not connected to the controller, but uninstall it can work, and I don't want to uninstall, I need Bluetooth Atpx technology, firmware update coming soon?

 

Just go through the update again with your adapter and headset plugged in, the adapter is only live when you have your headset plugged in. Your controller already being updated shouldn't make any difference, but just to confirm you cant remove an update.

 

It tells me that my controller has already been updated and won't let me go through it again.

 

So your headset and adapter are working you just get the static/pops, there as been a lot of issues with this I am not sure if a fix was found, do you get the static/pops if you use the headset that came with the console.

 

No. The one that came with it works fine.

 

I think its down to the adapter that's why I don't use it, waiting for the fully wireless headset coming out end October, I will see if I can find something to help you on the preview forums.

 

Just a couple of things to try

1 Make sure plug connections headset adapter/headset are clean.

2 Reconnected usb cable to console/controller make sure they are well plugged in wait 10 seconds for controller to sync re-run update.
