    Hi

    I recently created a new email-adress in my Microsoft account and then I made that new email adress my main alias on my Microsoft account.

    Almost everything seems to work fine with the new email adress as my new main alias. Howewer I find the Xbox App on my PC having some troubles acknowledging my new email adress as my main alias. For examle, I have a subscription on Xbox Ultimate Game Pass that enables me to play Football Manager 2022 on my PC. I can still launch Football Manager on my Xbox App on my PC but since I changed my email adress as my main alias, the Xbox App won´t automatically identify me as I try to start the game but prompts me to log in on the Xbox App.

    When I Alt-Tab to the Xbox App and then manually log in on the Xbox App, the log in screen seems to "reload" 10-20 times before it successfully logs me in on the Xbox App, and Football Manager will continue to load.

    I've restarted the PC and the Xbox App and logged in with my new alias many times, but the issue still remains whenever I start Football Manager.

    Next I want to try tro solve this problem by uninstalling the Xbox App, and then install it again and log in with my new email adress from start, but I hesitate as I don't know what would happen with the other games I've installed through the Xbox App.

    Can I unistall and reinstall the Xbox App on my PC without having to download/reinstall all the games I've now installed from the Xbox App?

    The user who suggested uninstalling the Xbox Music app, rebooting, and then re-installing the app had the right idea. Seems the app database on my PC was corrupt.

    What happens to the games that are installed via the Xbox App when I uninstall and then reinstall the Xbox App? Will they also be needed to reinstalled or will they work just as before after the reinstallation of the Xbox App?

    Just right click the app and choose uninstall, then re-install it from the Xbox store for free.

    It might hang a little bid when downloading but it works. If you see "pending", just restart your pc and the app will be installed. Works fine after that.
