Unfairly suspended or justified? Warning may contain strong language

So I want to know your thoughts on this topic that I just experienced.

I was playing GTA V Online and I was in a lobby with 1 other player so 2 players total including myself. He was harassing me in game by killing and talking over the headset to me, so I sent him a message calling him a **** and telling him to **** off, he
proceeds to vote to kick me.

Later I received a email saying I have a 1 day communication suspension due to the message I sent him.

Was it justified that i received a suspension and he receives nothing? I think he’s a bigger **** now.

Unfairly suspended

Xbox, I was recently just suspended from online communication on xbox live? I admit I did use some vulgar language but how do you expect someone to react when repeatedly spawn killed, trolled, and then invited into a party and mocked? I think you know how
any sensible person would reply!

The game where the offenses against me were committed was Ark survival evolved, then it went into party chat. I was then messaged by one of the trolls (or in game bully) that he had nothing to do with it, albeit he so obviously did. I, slightly heated, responded
with "**** you" "**** both"

Of course I'm going to react like that!

It doesn't matter how a situation starts, if you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be suspended. It's best to just report the other person and block communications instead of responding. So yes, your suspension was justified.

As far as the other person, if you filed a complaint on them, the enforcement team will investigate them and take action. So even if they havent had a suspension yet, it doesn't mean they won't.

Yes it very much matters how the situation starts if I’m sending random messages to people calling them C*nts then it’s deserved but not if I’m telling somebody to leave me alone in a vulgar manner.

Also is it not worrying that saying **** and C*nt in a message is breaking the Code of Conduct? Talk about language policing

Swear words are never allowed on XBL, it must remain rated E for everyone. Don't use those bad words or you will get another suspension.

Im just saying there needs to be some sort of system that warns you before you send a message if it contains anything that will get you suspended and goes over the penalties of getting suspended
