Unfair

My account has been banned after a report from an 11-year old who games with my son.

My son used a bad word. Bad language, unfortunately, is used. I have screenshots of messages with bad language too. The "reporter" in question is upset he isn't included, no new scenario here.

The process to complete questionnaires is outside my expertise, even using google and find words on the page on the browser.

I understand XBox have a standard and there is no recompense for my cold hard cash of live subscription, but my concern is, this "reporter" and those like him can report anyone and get them banned.

And yes, I've already read all the forum comments.

MS (or any other business) can't be held accountable for what people outside of thier company say. If they were offering compensation for threats they would be out of business in a day. Theres also the problem of proving that you were threatened and/or having
your friends "threaten" you so you you could game this fantasy.

If someone has sent your son an abusive message including bad language the best course of action is to
report the other player because if you reply to another player and the message you send them is found to break the
Code of conduct or
terms of use then there is a possibility of an enforcement action being taken against your son regardless of how it started.

You should be able to review any enforcement actions received on the
Xbox Enforcement website and also request a case review from here if eligible.

 

if you use common sense you would pass the questionnaire easily

Common it's right and wrong answers what is morally right and wrong should be obvious

That being said yes your son must be rated e for everyone
