Unfair XBox Live Gold Deals

Current deals with Gold has Ride 2 at 70% discount for USD18 which equals about NZD26 yet on XBox store in New Zealand its NZD36 which means Microsoft NZ pockets around $10 extra. For digital content this is scandalous and very disappointing. Instead of
making a $26 sale you now get zero from me.

so i see this deal on my xbox one 1$ gold but then i drive all the way to the store which is kind of far then i come back and i click on the deal but it says PAY 10$ So either THIS SO UNFAIR!

All deals are usually subject to differences per country. The discount will have been agreed by the publisher/game developer and probably not Microsoft.

It is always disappointing for anyone outside the US, where it seems to get a worse deal. In the US they don't include TAX in their price, where as other countries usually do which does increase it a little.

 

I feel for you this is due to cross region sales not all being identical. The last one that got me was seeing Forza Horizon 2 for 5$ in the states, but in Europe is was 15 euros. Unfortunately these things happen quite a bit.

 

yea, that happens here in Europe a lot. usually, things cost the same or more in € than US dollars. I just suck it up though.
