    Unfair Report


    Howdy everyone, I have a major problem. I said: (Mod Removed) and I got reported and got my comms disabled for one day, which isn't that bad, but he calls me a loser and calls me "bad" and that's targeted harassment. I reported those comments and what thing did he get? Nothing. After I reported him last night, he is now harassing my friends by calling them losers. I said: (Mod removed) which I thought it means: (Mod Removed) so he reported it as harassment? How is that harassing him?! I'm just telling him to shut up about me calling me bad and a loser. Of course, I'm a unpopular redneck in the Midwest, so I guess my voice doesn't matter. Anyways, me and my friends reported him but he is still harassing my friends. TALK ABOUT UNFAIR REPORTING!

    False reports won't get you banned. Only by breaking the rules you could get yourself banned.

    I agree with this post. The report feature is broken and has no real merit. I was forced to change my name due to "Gamertag contained inappropriate content". I had the same gamertag for 6 years without an issue before it was forcefully changed to what it
    is, sadly, now. I was probably reported by people looking to get me banned for beating them in a game, which is seriously childish. If possible you should apply for a case review on enforcement.xbox.com. I have applied as well for my case but do not know how
    long it takes to fix.

    There is no need to reply to these messages, block and report is there for this reason. Xbox has strict guidelines that you agreed to abide by when you signed up for the service.

    Xbox Live enforcement do not visit these forums. For all enforcement actions you can only visit the enforcement website https://enforcement.xbox.com/ and submit a case review if eligible.

    Every report is investigated by the enforcement team, but it can take time for reports to be actioned, it's not instantaneous and you will not be informed if action has been taken.
