    Unfair Refund Denial


    This Post concerns a digital purchase.

    I bought Metro Last light Redux on the Xbox one store and after trying to download it for 2 days it wouldn't install after it hit a point of 46%. I checked the Xbox live status constantly and said it was fine, yet the game wouldn't fully install, I tried
    literally every known method to fix it including factory resetting my Xbox to no avail (Please not that I had only gone onto the menu screen for about roughly 30 seconds max). After trying every option I had to fix this I concluded that a Refund would be my
    only option, so I requested a refund and ordered a copy of Metro Redux (A DISC version of the first two games into one Disc) from a Third party site ( e.g. EB Games). So I ordered a Refund for my digital game and while I was waiting for that refund to come
    through I played the DISC version of Metro Last Light Redux (which is on the Physical copy of the Metro Redux bundle), And my request for a refund has been denied so if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for reaching out to the forum. I am sorry to hear that you have had issues with you purchase. Here at this forum we can't really help you get a refund, and you have to reach out to support.xbox.com and
    explain the issue to them.

    Thanks for the replies. Sorry with the issue about getting a refund. Unfortunately, as you stated the customer support and refunds are separate. With all the issues of trying to get refund, first make sure the one who purchased tries the refund. If they
    continue I recommend requesting a call from support and talking with a supervisor. As under the terms you should qualify as it hasn't been played for 2 hours and within 14 days.

    Are you trying to refund it to your partner's account? If you didn't purchase it, it maybe that it won't refund to you.
