unfair console ban

i recently purchased an xbox 360 from a car boot sale here in Sheffield England. when i tried to connect to Xbox live i was informed that the console was banned. in effect i am being punished for someone else;s misdemeanor. can
Microsoft rethink this and unban my console bought in good faith. would you e-mail me some information on how to reverse this state of affairs.

Unfair console ban

so my console was banned for absolutely no reason whatsoever, I have a good reputation didn’t break any rule, I promise you that, I’m so pissed off I may never buy another Xbox one again and go to PS4 this makes absolutely no sense for this to happen to
me , and I can’t file a case review or get answers on if this ban is permanent or not, I need answers like now.

Firstly please do no provide personal information on open forums such as this. All Xbox 360 device bans are permanent and cannot be undone at a later time.

No one will be able to provide any info regarding anything over email, it will all have to be done over the forums.

Please don't post your address etc, its for your own safety.

As for the console ban, you'll need to either sell it or contact the person who sold it to you as they can not be undone, for the reason that the console still may have unauthorized modifications.

Of course, as it is a 360, you will be able to J-Tag it, but I don't recommend doing it as its a violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement and is basically cheating
