Unfair Communication Ban

I play Rainbow Six Siege all the time and just about every single game you will encounter people that leave constantly, cheat, team kill and trash talk. I can be honest and tell you that I trash talk, team kill and only leave early when I feel it is necessary
I don't join games just to harass people or make brand new accounts specifically for Rainbow Six Siege so I can do whatever I want till I eventually get banned there is so many of those people who just get a kick out of ruining people's experiences if you
check my gameplay history you'll know I'm just trying to play the game I am not the best so sure you'll see me accidentally shoot a teammate and then get killed by the person...my point is I got a 2 week communication ban for trash talk even though I should
have gotten a wet ban it's only my second offense. For a game that is so competitive it seems everyone on that game is out to get you....the moment someone does something wrong or messes up that person instantly gets sworn at for being garbage, gets harassed
and team killed till they leave. I am not saying I should not have got communication banned, but not for 2 weeks when it says 1 week for second offense. I should want someone to further look into my case because the person who I swore as was the person who
travelled me after I accidentally shot him. He spammed me messages and everything United and blocked him til later I got a XL message I was muted so I did the same thing he did to me reported him. Only because he started the issue. I am never the one to report
anybody only when I feel it is necessary I feel I can handle situations in a civil matter when the person isn't an instigator. I feel like everybody reports people for the smallest things I had no idea how sensitive the system works I said one thing and he
spammed messaging me over and over. And I got punished 2x harsh than I should have. All I know is XL is full of trash talk there should indefinitely be limits. I feel like my case should be further looked into. That's all I ask. Thanks for reading and hopefully
I can get this thrown in the past I just wanna play and talk while playing like every other normal XL player.

The best thing to do would be to report him and block communications with him.

 

Retaliating in an abusive or profanity way is a breach of the Code of Conduct and subject to enforcement acts. Doesn't matter who started it. That guy that was harassing you first, probably did it only so you can say something abusive and he'll be able
to report you. But in all probability he did get the same suspension as the enforcement team looks on both ways of the story.

Next time don't say anything, report and block. How hard is that?

Your com ban is fair if you violated the code of conduct. Listen to VampireClaws36, just report any abusive message and move on.

 

I agree with the original poster here. It is garbage and xbox knows it. I have been banned several times because someone messaged me first and downgraded me as a person. But I get banned because I chose not to report them, because I'm not a little snowflake.
And no, they do not look at both sides of it and they do not also ban the other person. Good try tho. This is why many people are leaving microsoft for PC or Playstation. Xbox is trying to put little snowflakes on a thrown so that they feel empowered. It is
pathetic. Since when has a gamer been shunned for for talking smack? That is literally what gamers have done since the beginning of gaming. Then if you want to dispute it, you have to fill out a questionnaire with some stupid questions that most people wont
know the answer to. And if you miss one, it says you can't try anymore. It's xbox's way of screwing its users. We pay for xbox live and the system itself, so why would we get banned because some
[Mod Removed – Profanity] starts drama? I hope people start to boycott this garbage company.

 

You are totaly right. I have been banned one too many times for some snowflake starting stuff. I never cuss at them or threaten them, yet I get banned for calling out a troll that is purposely disrupting games. I reported a guy that said he was going to
have me "SWATed" and the enforcement team did nothing, but I get banned every time I gently tell off a troll; and I am so careful not to get too personal or make fun of him or threaten him. I just say things like: "go back to dorknite, troll" or something
like that and I get banned! [Mod Removed – Profanity] xbox and their enforcement team; I'm getting a PS4 next week. Xbox will be thrown in a closet and forgot about. I am so glad I didn't buy RDR2 yet, because I'm gona need it
on Playstation now. Xbox's controllers are absolute garbage anyway. The joysticks only seem to last about 3 or 4 months if you actualy play them, and if you drop it, it just starts randomly shutting off or wont turn on at all. The 360 controllers were practically
bullet-proof so what happened? I guess they want us buying new controllers every few months too
